Mango Coconut Sago Bowl

A refreshing and fun take on mango coconut sago, and you don’t even need a bowl!


Ingredients:

  • 1 ripe mango (look for the larger, oval ones with red to orange colors)

  • 1/2 cup of sago (also known as “xi-mi-loo, like THIS)

  • 1/2 can of coconut milk


Instructions:

  1. Slice mango in half from the short side

  2. Pull mango apart from the cut line - you should see one side of the mango seed with some flesh

  3. Pull the other side of the seed out and slice off as much flesh as you can

  4. Cube all the flesh you sliced off

  5. Cook the sago according to instructions on the bag

  6. Add mango flesh back into your now emptied mango shells

  7. Let cooked sago chill a bit then add into the mango shells

  8. Fill mango shells up with coconut milk

  9. (Optional) Add some crushed ice if sago is still a bit hot and add a tsp of liquid sweetener if mango isn’t sweet enough
