Crispy Fried Dumpling Skirt

Crispy on the bottom and juicy on the inside - fried dumpling skirts are easier than you think to create!

Ingredients:

  • Dumplings of your choice (my favorite is Bibigo’s beef bulgogi mandu that can be purchased from Costco!)

  • 1/3 cup of water

  • 1 tsp of flour

  • 1 and 1/3 tsp of corn starch

  • a pinch of salt

[Shop all the ingredients HERE]

Instructions:

  1. Pan fry your dumpling of choice according to package instructions

  2. Mix together water, flour, corn starch, and a pinch of salt

  3. Pour mixture evenly surrounding the dumplings (do it slowly - this part isn’t easy!)

  4. Turn your heat down and cover the pan; cook for 10-ish minutes or until water has evaporated and the skirt starts to brown

  5. Place a plate upside down onto the pan and flip the pan over for dumplings to fall onto the plate right side up

  6. Enjoy with dumpling sauce or chili crisp oil
