Purple Rice Breakfast Waffles

The easiest and quickest way to turn your leftover rice into something delicious and full of textures and nutrients - breakfast waffles!


Ingredients:

  • Leftover, refrigerated rice (amount dependent on the size of your waffle-maker)

  • Neutral oil spray

  • Green onions

  • Eggs

  • Spinach

  • Cheese

  • Sesame oil

  • Furikake

  • Kewpie mayo

Instructions:

  1. Heat up waffle-maker and spray with neutral oil

  2. Chop up green onions

  3. Layer refrigerated rice, egg, spinach, cheese, chopped green onions, and another thin layer of rice

  4. Press waffle maker together until the light turns green

  5. Top off with more green onions, Kewpie mayo, and furikake
